Retail Sales Associate

Fossil

  • My job as a sales associate is to greet customers as they enter the store, inform them about our current promotions, and ask if they are searching for anything specific. I conclude our initial interaction by introducing myself and letting them know they can ask me any questions they may have.
  • As a sales associate, I am also proficient in operating the cash register to check out customers. This includes applying any discounts offered by the store, as well as handling returns and warranty issues.
  • For closing shifts, I am responsible for organizing all product displays to ensure they meet company standards and are fully stocked. Additional tasks include sweeping the sales floor, replacing and throwing out trash bags, cleaning the bathroom, and verifying the cash in the register.
  • I am also capable in adjusting watches to fit the customer's desired size, as well as performing battery changes for all types of Fossil watches.

Volunteer work.

Special olympics: The Special Olympics USA Games is a year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. I volunteered at the Special Olympics Florida event held at the Disney ESPN Sports Complex back in July 2022. My tasks included supplying athletes with water, escorting them to their warm-up areas, keeping score of the games, and providing any additional assistance needed. Volunteering at this event showed me the importance of being able to work with a wide variety of people and how coming together can create the best experience for the athletes. It also taught me to adapt to different circumstances and be able to take on new and diverse tasks.
