Manager Technical Field Operations
1 Year 10 Months- The Field Technical Manager is responsible for planning and front-line management of operational, technical and production support for Telemundo Enterprises programming throughout all steps of the production process.
- The Field Technical Manager collaborates with other departments within Telemundo to support the on-air operations of Telemundo Enterprises and provide first-in-class service to all clients for on air broadcasts.
- Manages the coordination, operation, documentation, logistics, and execution of remote live programming for Telemundo Enterprises.
- Coordinates all technical and logistical requirements prior to air, on location and then post show to ensure that all technical aspects of the production go as planned.
- Attends planning meetings as necessary ahead of production to determine resources and logistics required for successful execution.
- Creates and oversees a budget for specific projects as well as invoicing.
- Creates and oversees onsite technical crew both internal and external for specific projects with final approval of the Director, Field Operations.
- Creates detailed technical books and specs to share with clients and other O&T departments.

3 Years 2 Months- The Field Operations Engineering department is charged with supporting Telemundo Network with remote broadcast capabilities for entertainment, sports, news, as well as Telemundo’s tentpole productions.
- A candidate must be able to design 'travel ready' broadcast systems, deploy that system to any remote location, as well as operate it.
- This individual must also be able to work alone or with a team under extreme conditions and deadlines, and deal with a flexible work schedule including holidays, weekends, evenings and overtime.
- Candidate must be available for overnight and/or overseas travel to natural disasters or conflict-ridden parts of the world, or otherwise hazardous locations.
- Responsible for managing various disciplines of remote broadcasting including but not limited to transmission, audio, video, communications, RF, and IT.
