Maintaining consistent employment at Marco’s Emporium over the past several years, along with completing an internship at West Bergen Mental Health, has allowed me to develop valuable professional and life skills. Managing daily store operations and collaborating with others reinforced the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and goal-oriented work. Additionally, working alongside mental health professionals and supporting their clients strengthened my ability to approach others with empathy and compassion. Balancing organizational responsibilities with providing attentive service to both customers and clients required strong multitasking and time-management skills. As my responsibilities continued to grow in both roles, I gained the confidence and readiness to take on greater challenges.
