Shadowed research focused on how vascular ion channels regulate blood flow in aging and neurodegenerative diseases, working with mouse models. Gained exposure to in vivo experimental design, animal handling procedures, and ethical considerations in research. Observed experiments using Laser Speckle Contrast Imaging (LSCI) to assess cerebral blood flow dynamics, and learned how vascular function, endothelial signaling, and ion channel activity are evaluated in health and disease. Participated in research meetings and data discussions, strengthening my understanding of neurovascular physiology.

As a licensed and immunization-certified pharmacy technician at Walgreens, I support patient care by preparing and dispensing medications, processing insurance claims, and maintaining accurate pharmaceutical records. I collaborate closely with pharmacists to ensure regulatory compliance, assist with patient counseling needs, and administer vaccines safely and efficiently. I contribute to a fast-paced clinical environment through strong organization, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork.

Completed advanced biochemistry laboratory coursework involving protein purification, biochemical analysis, and molecular characterization techniques. Gained hands-on experience with ion exchange, affinity, and size exclusion chromatography; SDS-PAGE and native PAGE; Western blotting; enzymatic activity assays; bacterial transformation and Bradford protein quantification. Developed strong data analysis, scientific writing, and experimental troubleshooting skills through a full-length research-style manuscript as well as a individually-led poster presentation through a CURE-styled course.

Served as a student representative for UVM Dining, supporting campus engagement by collecting student feedback, promoting dining initiatives, and assisting with program outreach. Designed digital and hand-drawn graphics for marketing materials, social media, and event promotion, ensuring clear communication and consistent visual branding across campus platforms.
