Key Responsibilities of an OR PCT:

• Room Setup & Turnover: Cleaning and preparing OR suites between surgeries, including changing linen, disinfecting equipment, and setting up necessary supplies.
• Patient Transport & Positioning: Moving patients to and from the operating table, assisting with positioning for procedures, and ensuring patient safety.
• Supply Management: Restocking anesthesia supplies, gathering surgical equipment, and running supplies from sterile storage to the operating room.
• Technical Support: Running specimens to pathology, obtaining blood products, and assisting the surgical team with non-sterile tasks.
• Skills: Strong communication, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with sterile techniques and safety protocols.

• Assist the doctor and nurse in all aspects of hospital instruction and behavior support.
• Implement Behavior Strategic Plan/Behavior Intervention Plan.
• Implement behavior strategies.
• Support patients throughout the entire day including free time and lunch.
• Supervise patients throughout the day in during educational activities, and during lunch.
• Consult and collaborate with site staff.
• Assist in student assessments as appropriate.
• Participate in meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, records, and reports.
• Participate in developing data collection systems, and monitor data collection to ensure the success of the behavior plan.

• Meeting and greeting customers also answering questions about products and services.
• Cashiering jobs exude friendly, courteous, and motivated personalities.
• Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.

• Accurately recorded treatment information in patient records.
• Assisted dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies when necessary.
• Educated patients about proper oral hygiene and plaque control procedures.
• Worked closely with patients before, during and after dental procedures.
• Diligently cleaned instruments and work areas in accordance with sterilization and disinfectant protocol.
• Successfully completed OSHA, ADA and HIPAA compliance trainings.
• Maintained proper universal precautions and infection control procedures at all times.
