undefinedI am writing in response to your advertisement for the Office Cooridnator. Based on the requirements listed; my professional experience and background, make me an excellent candidate for this position. As you will see from my resume, I have more than 28 years of experience in law enforcement with the Bloomington Police Department. My resume shows that I have been a supervisor for over 18 years with increased responsibilities and assignments. I was assigned to manage our training division for the department in 2019, which is my current assignment. I managed and participated in the COPS in School and Teaching, Educating, and Mentoring (TEAM) programs for our local school system from 2010-2013. I am versed in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, PowerPoint, and Excel. I have enclosed my resume and references for your review. If you have any questions, or you want to schedule an interview, please contact me at 812-360-0564. I look forward to further discussing employment opportunities with Edward Jones. Sincerely, Pam Gladish-Reath
Monroe County CASA provides court appointed special advocates (CASAs), to children involved in the legal system due to abuse or neglect. Our volunteers are community members who dedicate their time monthly to work with one or two children or sibling groups. CASA volunteers listen and soak up as much information as possible about the child’s life, which then is given to the judge in the form of a report. The judge then uses that information to make the most informed decisions to achieve the best possible outcome for that child. But, without community volunteers, this vital work isn’t possible. As a board member, we participate in community engagement events, we engage with our current volunteers with appreciation events and we are involved in fundraising events like our GALA each year. CASA is an amazing organization that is doing some great work for the children in our community.
