Responsibilties:

• Provided over 200 hundred optical and hydrostatic testing of different types of fiber optic cables and connectors as jumper, opticon, suta, headers for armée, oil and gas company.
• Tested over 100 hydrostatic fiber optic as flying connector, buckhead, jumper cables.
• Spliced over 50 fiber optic cables in the lab environment before optical testing.
• Conducted hulium testing to find the small leaks in the fiber optic connector parts.
• Conducted connectors oil recharge.
• Fully capable of testing and troubleshooting with EXFO test equipment for bidirectional shots as well as OLTS testing.
• Able to use test equipment to find fiber breaks and losses.
• Familiar with outside and inside plant fiber splicing and cabling.
