Manage a team of 8 Regional Managers that each oversee a team of 10 Directors of Food & Nutrition in multiple school districts throughout northeast and central Pennsylvania
Leader of the Corporate Wellness Department overseeing corporate RDs & Nutritionists and ensuring the company follows state and federal regulations related to the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program
Assist Regional Managers and resident Directors of Food & Nutrition with daily operations in all aspects of providing meals to students
Review and approves menus based on age/grade levels to ensure they meet the nutritional requirements set forth by USDA
Work with students and parents on special diets to develop menus that meet their specific needs
Development and implementation of effective training and development programs for both new and current employees
Assistance with the management and direction of unionized groups of employees and enforcement of company policies and procedures on a daily basis
Maintenance of a constant line of communication between the food service department and students, parents, and administrators in an effort to meet customer needs
Knowledge and adherence to unit cost control measures and theft control policies and procedures
Completion and timely submission of required paperwork
Enforcement of proper food safety and sanitation measures
Compliance to set budgetary goals, food cost, and inventory levels
Development and presentation of nutrition education materials.
