I seek to utilize my experiences and qualities ranging from good observational skills, investigative techniques, intelligence gathering, critical data/ document analysis for narcotic investigations and other related organized crimes to ensure the Commission fulfil its mandate. My experiences and professional ethics will be passed on to new and existing officers of the Commission by administering quality training and mentorship.

Accomplishments

  • Made several arrests individually and as part of a group in line of performing my duties. i.e. The case of The Republic Vrs Gladys Wanjiku NJOROGE, 2015.
  • Made very good observations in my line of work which has led to positive results and other follow ups. i.e. Recommended the strategic introduction of K9 operations to the VVIP terminal to deter the abuse in use of the facility.
  • Exhibited very good professional knowledge and innovation that has pushed the Narcotics Control Commission’s ability to effectively operate in some very sensitive environments with great diplomacy (VVIP Lounge).
  • Highway Interdiction Operations, Raids, Cannabis farm destructions.
  • Executed Search and Arrest warrants (National and International)
  • Ability to supervise and advise on issues and conduct of junior and other colleague officers to Worked professionally, ethically and with constant improvement.
  • Six months’ work experience as a Relationship Manager for PATFRAN Agency, a car rental company at Ring Road Central.
  • Over five (5yrs) working experience as a Field Operative with the Narcotic Control Commission (NACOC) at the Kotoka International Airport (K.I.A) handling both passengers and cargo.
  • Also worked on a UNODC project as a member of a Joint Airport Interdiction Task Force (JAITF) in the framework of AIRCOP.
  • Currently a member of the Sensitive Investigative Unit (SIU) in Ghana as an investigator, a United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) funded program.
