• Responsible for database management and data entry of Texas American Federation of Teachers (AMP).
• Responsible for thousands of Texas AFT AMP member's financial applications, assisting public school employees from all over the RGV to obtain assistance from Texas AFT Service Department by doing intake in person as well as via phone.
• Responsible in assigning service department representatives using the organizational software called EMMA.
• Responsible in updating membership lists based on current and accurate financial information, personal information (address, phone number, etc.) and other important membership specific information in the Texas AFT AMP databases that included KNACK, OFC, and CONNECT.
• Responsible for inputting membership cancellation documents, financial updates, reimbursement requests, and documented receipts from Texas AFT AMP accounts used, sending weekly numerical reports from the region to our H.Q.
• Responsible for inputting hundreds of new membership applications into the CONNECT database on a yearly basis.
• For our Payroll Deduction members I established and maintained relationships with the dozens of district school payroll employees.
• Responsible for posting thousands of payroll deduction’s financial information into the KNACK database in a yearly basis.
• I performed regular school district payroll deduction audits to pinpoint irregular financial amounts and take the necessary measure to resolve.
• During New Teacher Orientation season at the beginning of the school year I would be asked to organize and travel to public schools all over the RGV and recruited new members for the union.
• I assisted the McAllen AFT local with recruitment at NTO, Convocation, and Tech Conferences were I successfully lead events and had teachers and support staff sign-up for the local union as new members.
• I assisted the McAllen AFT local with support with their Spanish speaking members and was used to translate and assist the members by seeing what they needed.

Union Affiliation: TSU Local 32035. During my membership with TSU, I participated in my union by providing my support during a contract negotiations where I participated in negotiation talks with Texas AFT AMP management.

• I was responsible for the marketing, business growth, overseeing monetary and credit transactions, keeping files of receipts, inventory, website maintenance, customer information, customer calls, and customer satisfaction.
• I specialized in computer and laptop repairs that involve malware, scare-ware, pop-ups, ransomware, and trojan viruses
• I was able to successfully grow this business by over 50% and maintain a high satisfactory rating from our customer base.

• DREAM Home was the first nonprofit in the country to provide free housing to DREAMer students.
• As a Founding Member for this nonprofit, I fundraised, organized community events, assisted the students who lived at the home, supervised volunteers, and worked with other nonprofits and organizations in the community.

• I was responsible for a team of over 30 volunteers whom I recruited, trained in VAN (Voter Activation Network), Mini VAN, Get Out The Vote (GOTV), phone banking, block walking, campaign and community outreach, and DATA entry.
• My team of deputized volunteers and I contributed in the registering of over 2,000 new voters that Battleground Texas of the Rio Grande Valley successfully registered to vote in 2014.
• I organized trainings at University of Texas Pan American (UTPA) for volunteers and regular groups to attend deputization classes with the Hidalgo County Elections Department.
• I used Voter Activation Network Database (VAN) for 10 months as both a volunteer and organizer.
• I made thousands of phone calls and knocked on hundreds of doors.
