Work in a team environment to achieve goals and maximize profit margin. Provide excellent customer service. Train, develop, and coach direct report employees. Create nightly plans to unload, move, and stock new freight, as well as rotating older freight from the stockroom. Ensure stocking performance was met or exceeded by direct reports. Troubleshoot and provide guidance to direct reports. Plan and maintain floor waxing schedules, routine maintenance, and special projects with Floor/Maintenance crew. Observe and give direction on safe work place practices. Operate powered lifting equipment (fork lift, stock picker, scissor lift) and non-powered lifting equipment (pallet jack) to safely move loads. Key control for building ingress/egress points as well as Cash Office and Jewelry Department safes. Execute and maintain Digital Inventory Management System and monitor applicable KPI's to address opportunities. Maintain and direct freight flow across multiple stockrooms for new deliveries and inventory accuracy. Communicate, execute, and troubleshoot freight flow, merchandising displays, and seasonal changes with 3rd party vendors. Maintain food safety logs. Stock, merchandise, rotate and cull product. Deep clean and maintain salesfloor/stockroom to a food grade safety level. Report to all levels of supervision problems and opportunities that arise, and work with those supervisors to create and execute a plan of action.
