Implemented the current information security program for HIPAA and conducted compliancy auditing and documentation of requirements including risk analysis , gap analysis, user access auditing, education requirements, incident response and investigations, and committee chairperson for HIPAA.

I currently work in the business office assisting in the gathering of information for patient services in admissions and helping with daily deposits 2019-present. I also currently do the HIPAA Officer roles as described.

I started working at OCHC in 1982 as a nurses aide, progressed to a CNA in 1986 and later became a Home Health Aide in 1996.

I served as the Resource Development director developing documents and policies and procedures for all departments 1993-2007.

I served as the emergency preparedness coordinator 2003- 2006 assisting with the post 9/11 preparedness requirements.

I served as the sterilization process supervisor for autoclaving and monitoring ER instruments1998-2006.

I served as the CPR instructor and instructor trainer, site coordinator for our region from 2003-2006.

I implemented a volunteer chaplains program for the facility in 1998-2008. I served as the program coordinator and participated in the Ottawa County Ministerial Alliance.
