Made prompt initial contact, obtained initial description of damages, scheduled loss inspection and made initial log and data entries into the Windows based, on-line claims system.
Examined claim forms and policies to determine coverage.
Conducted comprehensive on site inspections to gather facts and assess property damage evidence with ultimate goal of creating positive outcomes for client's claims.
Investigated and assessed damage to property. Prepared on site estimate of repairs needed using Xactimate estimate system and preparing all settlement letters, denial and partial denial letters, settlement checks and claim entries into the online Windows based claims system.
From 2020 through 2023 worked remotely. Assigned 3rd party vendors to inspect damages on site per my directions. Reviewed 3rd party vendor photos and damage report and prepared on line repair estimate using the Xactimate estimating system. Contacted Insureds going over the estimate and claim settlement process. Issued payments to Insureds along with the processed settlement letter and check and these documents may also included a partial denial for items not covered under the policy.
Kept timely log entries for all claims handled each time documents, emails and discussions with Insureds were made. Heavy data entry for each claim file.
