Respond to all Code calls and all calls for Security needs, including morgue runs.
Maintain front areas to be sure wheelchairs are accessible for their designated departments and that it is presentable for the public coming in for services - especially those in need of wheelchairs.
This position has the same duties described under Mercyhealth Security Officer due to the fact that is was located at the MHTC.
There was no timelapse due to already being in the position that Mercyhealth went in-house with.
Assisted Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, PTA's, COTA's, and Speech Therapists with residents as needed.
Transported and ambulated patients to and from therapy department via wheelchairs or walkers.
Maintained occupational therapy supply inventories by regularly monitoring stock to determine product levels and anticipate supply needs.
Encouraged resident's physical needs to facilitate and attain therapeutic goals.
*Helped the Rehab Director with much of their duties when they went out on an extended medical leave - including scheduling of department coverage of staff for determined amount of minutes (which I had to calculate after the therapists' evaluations were completed) per RUG levels and many other duties that needed to be completed.
