I subsequently went to nursing school and earned both an Associates and Bachelors degree. I began my nursing career at the Lemuel Shattuck hospital as a staff nurse on a TB unit and also floated to all the Med/Surg units. I then became the Admission Screening Nurse, Discharge Planning Nurse, Case management Nurse, Nurse Manager of the TB unit, Correctional Health Med/Surg unit, ICU and the Vascular Access Team.
