Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide four-step approach to system design/training; conducting needs analysis, providing end-user training, supporting system go-live, and conducting post go-live assessment

• Managed care from admission to discharge on 14 bed specialty nursing unit that emphasized patient satisfaction for those patients seeking additional privacy and increased customer service. It was popularly referred to as the "VIP floor" for increased standard of care provided to patients and their families.
• Oversaw delivery of care for patients on Medical-Oncology unit, providing direct care, delegating nursing assignments and supervising a team comprised of nurses, technicians, and unit clerks.

• Served as Staff Nurse on the Telemetry division and in a newly formed PCU (Progressive Care Unit): critical care step-down unit for post cardiac surgery patients, Interventional Cardiology patients, and chronically intubated patients
