Dynamic World Language Department Chair with proven success in curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and fostering collaboration. Committed to enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes through effective strategies and innovative instructional practices.
For more than 20 years, I organized and participated in the German American Partnership Program (GAPP) exchange with Tübingen, Germany, providing students with meaningful opportunities for cultural immersion and language development. I coordinated all aspects of the exchange, including travel logistics, host family placements, itineraries, and educational activities, while fostering lasting partnerships between schools and communities. In addition, I developed and led an immersion program to Salamanca, Spain, accompanying students on four educational trips designed to strengthen their Spanish language proficiency and deepen their understanding of Spanish culture, history, and daily life. These international experiences enriched students' global perspectives while promoting cross-cultural understanding and lifelong learning.
