Key responsibilities include monitoring surveillance systems, analyzing inventory data, investigating incidents, training staff, and coordinating with law enforcement.Ensures the safety, security, and profitability of store locations by developing strategies to reduce loss from theft, fraud, and operational errors.

• Investigation & Reporting: Investigates internal and external theft, prepares detailed incident reports, and acts as a liaison with law enforcement.
• Loss Prevention Strategy: Develops and implements programs to minimize risk and reduce inventory shrinkage.
• Surveillance & Security: Monitors in-person and digital surveillance (including CCTV, Kaba Trailer Access, and EAS systems) to detect theft or security breaches.
• Data Analysis: Utilizes store data to identify patterns in loss, audit inventory, and improve profitability.
• Investigation & Reporting: Investigates internal and external theft, prepares detailed incident reports, and acts as a liaison with law enforcement.
• Safety: Implemented security procedures for safety compliance, handled burglar alarms and responded first to safety incidents.
• Team Leadership: Trains and mentors employees on loss prevention awareness, safety procedures, and customer service techniques.

Qualifications

• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and knowledge of surveillance systems.
• Physical/Scheduling: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet business needs.
