I aim to secure an internship that will provide me with an understanding of local and state government operations, while allowing me to observe firsthand congressional proceedings and gain insights into public policy formulation. My ultimate career aspiration lies in the realm of international issues and national security, but I believe that grounding myself in the fundamentals of government processes and public policy is essential. I am eager to engage in diverse projects, from conducting research to drafting legislation and assisting with constituent services, to broaden my knowledge and skillset. My coursework in political science and international relations has sparked my curiosity and deepened my interest in these fields, motivating me to pursue practical experiences that complement my academic studies. Additionally, having recently acquired a minor in business, I am keen to explore how public policy influences business dynamics, further enriching my understanding of policy implementation and its broader implications.
