• Currently acting as an Interchange Coordinator and WECC Path Manager. Perform RT and DA analysis with partial and full SPP market participants to verify supply adequacy, regulatory compliance and general oversight of marketing entities within the WACM BA. Exercise expertise in WECC Path Management and Transmission Service Scheduling.

Perform real time trading in both CAISO and SPP markets. Economically dispatch generation assets including Coal, CT, Solar, Wind, and Fuel Oil across several states. Manage balancing of load control areas for 42 loads. Monitor real time contracts for RSG response, transmission availability and unit capacity/CRO. Monitor real time SCADA/EMS for system reliability and compliance metrics.

Responsible for managing two Balancing Authorities simultaneously in WECC, (GWA & WWA) Generator Owner, Generator Operations, substations, forecasting, scheduling, real-time operations and compliance, switching, and working with real time/day ahead traders. Work included third party energy resources scheduling, managing CRO for external hydroelectric BAs, and renewable energy asset optimization.

Assisted multiple regional electric co-ops with systems upgrades, troubleshooting, and primary hot-work. Work has included substations inspections and repairs, transmission inspections and upgrades, and general overhead/underground line maintenance and installations.

Assisted crews with the installation and maintenance of city owned underground based electric distribution. Several years of experience with reading, updating, and drawing electric and fiber optic utility prints through various programs for supervisory control center.
