I was salesman of the year after my first full year then, I was promoted to new car sales manager by age 22. By 26, I was promoted to GSM, where we went to number 1 new Chevy store in the 5 state region, and stayed there till I left in 2001. In 30 yrs I've never been let go in the business. I'm not a job jumper, every time I switched jobs was a relocating deal for different reasons. If my employer is loyal to me, I'm fiercely loyal in return.
