I am a Biology major who participated in research for over 7 years starting my sophomore year of college. My primary experience has been with plants, then after graduation in bio-pharmaceutical research. A part-time job aside from research, has been dental assisting.

• 03/2021, 09/2023, KCAS Bioanalytical and Biomarker Services, Olathe, KS, Analyst II, The Analyst II is responsible for preparation of reagents and solutions as well as sample processing under required regulatory documentation. Analyzes data, interprets results, and contributes to troubleshooting activities, such inventory of chemicals, washing glassware, waste disposal and/or general cleanup. May provide basic training for other laboratory personnel.

• 01/2016, 05/2019, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, Student Research Assistant, Maintained Mimulus Guttatus (yellow monkeyflower) throughout its lifespan, including feeding, measuring, and recording growth data. Collected flower samples and plant seeds in order to extract DNA and quantify DNA purity. Worked in support of both PI’s and graduate student’s ongoing projects.
