I’ve been working as a CNA for a year now, and I actually earned my certification through the JTED program while I was still in high school. Starting early gave me a solid foundation and helped me get comfortable with hands‑on care right away. Over the past year, I’ve learned how to support patients with daily care, mobility, and vital signs, but also how to be patient, calm, and present for people when they need it most.I’m available for night shifts, which is the schedule I prefer and the one I’ve been able to be most consistent with. I work well overnight the pace, the responsibility, and the one‑on‑one moments with patients fit me.
My long‑term goal is to become a midwife nurse, and being a CNA/PCT is the first step in that path for me. I want to keep building my skills, learning from nurses, and gaining the kind of experience that will help me grow in women’s health and patient care overall.
