• Participated in meetings, volunteering, events, and workshops related to the medical field in hopes of pursuing a career as a physician.

Pre-Medicine Society Mentor- Spring 2025

• As a senior, provided guidance to other pre-med students who were lower classmen.
• Provided constant line of communication for questions and monthly meetings.

Peer Mentor at Texas A&M University- Fall 2023

• Lead a class of first semester freshman through lesson plans to help adjust to life in college.
• Provided advice and a resource of contact for said freshman if needed.

Volunteer at St. Joseph's Health- Spring 2024

• Acted as a volunteer in the neuro/stroke ward of the hospital by providing assistance to nurses and patient care technicians through duties such as answering pages from patients and meeting their requests, directing calls, and filing and building charts.

Volunteer at Sleep in Heavenly Peace Organization- Spring 2023-Spring 2024

• Participated in the preparation of building materials and assembly of beds. Delivered these beds to homes in the community who were in need.

Volunteer Texas A&M Big Event- March 2023, March 2024, & March 2025

• Volunteered at homes in the community of Bryan/College Station to perform requested tasks such as mulching, weeding, and window washing.

Volunteer at Phoebe's Home- Twin City Missions- Fall 2024-Spring 2025

• Provided care to children while mother's were in counseling.

Medical Anthropology Research- May 2024-Spring 2025- Florence, Italy & College Station, TX

• Performed research under Dr. Allison Hopkins of Texas A&M University focusing on the lifestyle and diet of Italians, who have one of the longest life spans in the world.
• Interviewed local, English-speaking Italians and expats to gather data regarding lifestyle and health while I was studying abroad in Italy. Planned continued research upon return to United States.
• Spring 2025 transitioned into research based on smoking and effects on relapse.
