• Under the leadership of the Patient Care Director, the Manager Patient Care (PC) has 24/7 fiscal, clinical and operational accountability. The Nurse Manager is responsible for a direct care unit or units within Northwell Health.
• Utilizing the nursing process, the manager is responsible for creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of high-quality patient and family centered care in a healing milieu. The manager fosters a culture where highly engaged interdisciplinary team members can contribute to optimal patient outcomes and to grow professionally

• Assumes responsibility for the overall assessment, planning, and implementation and evaluation of patient care on the unit.
• Foster an environment of collaboration with interdisciplinary team.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory standards of care.
• Clinically and logistically streamline the flow of the Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology Labs.
• Communicate with team members to facilitate through put of patients.
• Teaching on Pre procedural medication instruction.

• Examines patient to determine physical status including interview, observation, and inspection.
