Quinn O'Connor

I am highly-motivated to gain experience in the industry, especially in the biotechnology realm. I am a fantastic team member that can always be relied upon. I am also not afraid to ask questions when I'm unsure. I've learned to communicate simply and effectively with coworkers and team members, clear communication is kind. I've worked in restaurants with extremely high-energy and fast pace which taught me to stay light on my feet and to adapt. I've also worked on the opposite end. Helping maintain Life Time athletic club taught me to slow down and pay attention to the finer details. Playing sports my entire life has taught me the dynamics of a team, where sometimes I will need to step up and lead, and other times I need to embrace my job as a role player.

Recognized as a three sport athlete that also demonstrated high proficiency in the classroom. This award meant a lot to me as I loved to push myself both on the field and courts, and also in the classroom. Getting recognized for that felt like a lot of my hard work had not gone unnoticed. I have learned so much playing sports that I apply to school, and vice versa. To this day, I still apply lessons I have learned playing sports to every aspect of my life, and skills I have gained in the classroom to every aspect in my life.
