  • Executed graduation process in December. after the second audits are sent to students a graduation committee is formed of all the key people on campus who will assist in the process, in December we have the number of students who will participate in the ceremony in May, we start forming list on Word for the Trustees, President, the Vice Presidents, and several other offices on campus, so that they can start their process for graduation, when final grades are posted in the computer in May we have three days to audit all of the students who have met their requirements to participate in the ceremony, we double check their degree audits and their final grades to make sure that they have enough credits to graduate and all of the program requirements are met. After the we have gone through all of the students who can participate in graduation we make two list one for the actual graduates and another for the students have less than two requirements remaining their degree, we post the two list outside of the Registrar’s office and we email an the list to all of the people on the graduation committee including Vice Presidents and Presidents.
  • Assisted in progression standards of the college, the Associate Vice President would run a list of the students who did not have enough credits or grades to continue on with their degree. I would then place all of the students on Warning, Probation, or Academic Dismissal and send the letters to the students. The students who were dismissed from the college have two weeks to appeal their dismissal, we would meet with the rest of the Academic Standards committee and we would review all of the students who appealed their dismissal.
  • Prepared graduation audits for 280 plus students and sent letters to all of them letting them know what they had left for graduation requirements for the graduation ceremony in May, this process is done two times a year, August, December, and a reminder notice is sent in April after Mid term warnings are sent to the students.
