• Performed front desk/ clerical / shift lead duties which included : checking patients in and out, insurance verification, cash handling and payment processing, billing for services rendered , inbound and outbound calls, faxing/copying/scanning documents, review patient charts for documentation/billing errors, delegated job roles, maintained/ordered inventory , end of shift and end of day spreadsheets with cash deposits to safe.
• Back office duties include: greeting patient , obtaining vital sign, proper documentation for everything performed, triage, immunization and therapeutic injections, blood draws and specimen collections- centrifuging blood, pregnancy testing, flu/ covid/ strep testing, mono testing. Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments, wrapping sterilized instruments, assisting with minor surgical procedures, taking X-ray images , keeping track of imaging performed, cleaning and sterilizing patient rooms, applying carbon fiber splints as directed, fitting and placing arm/wrist/leg/foot , measuring and adjustments for crutches, pulmonary function testing, Hubble eye exams, EKG’s .
