• Cofounder and owner of Steen, Party of Two, an event planning company in Lafayette, Louisiana.

• Handled all incoming calls and emails inquiring about events at Surge. Worked with clients from the beginning to the end of their journey with us. Not only did I set up the contract proposals in our systems, I organized the event on site and trained staff to take care of the events in the manner we wanted to be known for. I also went out into the community to network for Surge.

Besides checking people in, I booked rooms, answered the phones, checked to be sure rooms were ready, and set up everything for breakfast the following morning.

• I helped with schedules and ensured employees get to and from work on time.

• I handled all calls and emails coming in to Esprit, as well as site tours of the venue. I booked events and worked weddings as day-of coordinator and events as on site manager.
