I have over 20 years of experience in Information Technology industry, managing projects and providing solutions in large scale ERP systems like PeopleSoft to public and private sectors organizations. With more than 10 years of IT leadership experience in local government I have led teams in deploying complex and large scale enterprise solutions and have demonstrated history of delivering results-driven, sustainable, innovative and fiscally conscious solutions. I have experience in business process re-engineering, program management, process improvements, audit compliance, deploying innovative technologies, cloud solutions, change management, project management, RFP development and vendor management.
My strengths include customer relationship management and communication skills with both executive and user level, team building and mentoring, assessment of complex business problems, and providing sustainable technological solutions.
Over the last ten years I have managed several large scale projects including implementation of PeopleSoft Supplier Contracts, eSupplier Connection, Strat Sourcing, Travel & Expense, Inventory, AP Automation, Single-signon with MFA, Absence Management, ePBCS (Oracle Hyperion), Job and Position data modernization, Fluid Open Enrollment, re-designing of Payroll and Absence Management. I have also managed multiple upgrades including deployment of PeopleSoft upgrades from 9.1 to 9.2, PUM upgrades from UI 19 to 25, 25 to 34 and 34 to 44 in both Financials and HCM and PeopleTools upgrades from 8.48 to 8.53 and later on to 8.55 and 8.59.
Over the years, I have developed and attained significant subject matter expertise in the modules of Billing, Receivables, Payables, Purchasing, e-Procurement, General Ledger, Treasury and Cash Management, Commitment Control, HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Payroll and Payroll Distribution.
I have led and been part of RFP creation, bid response evaluation and vendor selection processes in projects related to both ERP as well as third party applications and Cloud systems including AP Automation project, Point of Sales implementation, Grants Management , eSupplier Connection, and Inventory Management implementations.
I have met and and worked with FBI's Cyber Security team and my organization's IT Security division to assess, review and mitigate risks involving supplier portals, implementing controls for accessing sensitive data, HIPAA compliance and vendor impersonation and payroll frauds involved in checks processing.
I have been a founding member of IT department's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion core team that put together an action plan to promote DEI initiatives.
