Shavonne Goutier is a Sr. Configuration Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where she leads the configuration management and requirements management for the Mars Sample Return Campaign, a groundbreaking project that aims to bring back the first set of selected samples from the surface of Mars. She has over ten years of experience managing complex aerospace and defense programs, using agile system engineering and project management techniques to optimize performance, reduce risks, and create value.
Shavonne is passionate about applying her skills and knowledge to improve users' lives, support military operations, and facilitate deep space exploration. She has a master's degree in systems engineering from Johns Hopkins University and is PMP certified (Est. Dec 2023). She is proficient in project integration management, configuration management, process improvement, and model-based systems engineering. She has received multiple awards and honors for her contributions to various projects, including the MQ-4C Triton First Flight and the Booz Allen Performance and Team Award.
