Hired to run events for members and maintain the clubs main bar. The key to running a club bar is to establish a rapport with regulars and build cocktails recipes and promotions around their needs. Also led in the creation of promotional materials such as flyers, menus and drinks to advertise special promotions or events.
Began at Eddie V's as a bartender and quickly became an event captain based on my past experience and extensive knowledge of of networking, sales, and high end food and wine education. Soon built a solid group of regulars and call parties and was on call anytime one of the parties requested me for a large buyout or private dinner.
Task with day to day manager tasks of maintaining detailed and up-to-date records of inventory, budgets, payroll, liquor counts, etc. However, what led to a large growth in member attendance at the club restaurant was the campaign I led to create an extensive high end cocktail list, weekly band performances for events, and monthly promotions where I would send cocktail ingredients to members who signed up and led them in the creation of one of our new cocktails over group zoom calls.
