A caring and compassionate educator with 30 years of classroom experience, I bring a growth mindset, community perspective, and genuine passion for meaningful human connection to everything I do.
Having taught within a richly diverse school community, I have built lasting relationships across a wide range of backgrounds and developed a deep appreciation for inclusivity and open-minded collaboration.
I am highly motivated to now direct my energy toward positively impacting the lives of seniors, adults with disabilities, and individuals facing behavioral and mental health challenges; bringing strong active listening skills, patience and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.
Environmentally and socially conscious, I am community-focused by nature and approach every relationship with compassion, caring and a calming presence.
Outside of work, I maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle through yoga, meditation, weight training, cooking, nature walks, reading and journaling; practices that strengthen my mind-body connection and keep me grounded, adaptable, and ready to serve.
My two closest relationships besides with my son, 23 and my daughter, 19 are with my Mom ( Kindergarten Teacher, 83) and my Uncle (History Teacher, 79) I retired from Teaching in 2023 to help take care of my Dad who had suffered his 2nd stroke and was dealing with dementia.
