I started at Smithfield Foods following high school graduation. I've been there up until now, but really looking for a change. I started out in packing and did that for 22 months. I transferred to a position as a Loin Puller and did that for two years. I then took a position as a Trainer for six months. The next 6 years, I was a crew leader for the main break. I was promoted to supervisor over the main break and did this role for 6 years. I was appointed to assistant cut-floor superintendent. I held this position for 18 months, until the company did budget cuts. I then moved to the position I am in now, as Lead Supervisor.
