• Strategically sell the KDP portfolio to maximize revenue growth, share growth, distribution, and to exceed overall sales goals for the route
• Coordinate with corporate leadership and other vendors to upsell promotionaldisplays, point-of sale material, and beverage section revamps
• Coordinate with KDP truck drivers to facilitate a seamless transport and positive interaction between vendor and customer during delivery
• Communicate efficient instruction to merchandisers regarding upcoming product promotions and store updates
• Regularly assess KDP equipment to ensure proper mechanical operation, cleanliness, and product pricing
• Maintain accurate sales records for all assigned accounts, includingnegotiated pricing contracts and compliance
• Identify and analyze sales patterns, competitor activity and customer expectations to develop an appropriate sales plan for each account
• Assist with Sales Manager routes and handle swing sales management responsibilities as assigned
• Resolve scheduling issues and remedy store emergencies in the absence of the Merchandising Supervisor
• Train all merchandisers on best practices and help them continue to develop during their time with the company
• Brief frontline employees on scheduling and meeting updates
• Fulfill majority of swing merchandising needs while managing an area equivalent to three normal merchandising routes
• Stock and display KDP products on shelves and cooler at large accounts within an assigned territory
• Responsible for rotating, cleaning, organizing, and condensing designatedsales floor and back room space
• Develop and nurture a positive business relationship with the store/grocery managers and receivers within assigned territory
• Communicate with account managers to stay up to date on upcoming displays, loads and sales
