I am a passionatend dedicated educator who brings a positive attitude towards life and learning to the classroom. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest to Cambodian refugees, I know all too well the importance of community and strong familial bonds for early development. I am known for my outgoing attitude, warm presence, and humor. I believe that the best learning stems from a place of joy and is built on the foundation of trust. When students are able to feel a sense of belonging and safety in the classroom, as well as making connections with their peers and teachers, they can develop a lifelong love for learning.
I come from a long line of academics and educators, and I am proud to continue the family tradition. To be able to do so in Cambodia, the land of my ancestors, would be the greatest blessing. I am committed to doing everything I can in making a positive and engaging learning environment to provide students with the best education possible. I look forward to learning from and growing alongside my students as we take our learning journey together.
