  • Worked as a General Engineer for FAA Airway Facilities Sector throughout the eastern region of the U.S. This region covered all major airports on the east coast. As an Engineer, I helped to upgrade airport building facilities and equipment under a congressional mandate called (NAS) the National Air-Space Plan. This plan required travel throughout the eastern U.S. to visit airports and identify construction projects needed to modernize building facilities and engineering systems. My job included writing contracts and specifications to construct/and or refurbish airport buildings, install hvac, engine generators, power conditioning and other electro-mechanical systems as needed.
