  • Lead a branch of fourteen staff members. The branch consists of a technical assistance team and an energy & sustainability team. Positions include engineers, program managers, and program analysts. A branch where all employees contribute to energy and/or sustainability programs and projects.
  • Plan and track annual budgets. Manage programs each fiscal year. Approve funding requests.
  • Creation and supervision of a new efficiency dashboard. This dashboard encompasses tracking and monitoring for energy use, building performance, KPIs, and targets set by Executive Order.
  • Lead efforts in Building Performance to establish a new energy efficiency program in support of energy and water efficiency across regional portfolio.
  • Monitored, tracked, and reported on achievements related to KPI’s across the regional portfolio. Average monthly energy reduction was 1.2% compared to baseline. The lowest EUI in the agency was maintained.
  • Strategic planning for long-term regional efficiency goals in alignment with Policy and Executive Orders. Including greenhouse gas emissions reductions, energy and water efficiency, building electrification, and renewable energy.
  • Regional Lead for the development of emerging & sustainable technologies implemented across the regional building portfolio. Received approximately $18million in Federal Funding to implement Smart Building Technology in support of energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emissions reductions and cost savings.
  • Actively support field offices, service centers, and other divisions with the goal of improving the operational efficiencies of our regional facilities. Partnering with our regional divisions and national program leadership.
  • Energy Performance Contracts approximately $10million annually in Measure & Verification (M&V) including PV locations generating over 7million kWH annually.
  • Engage in fiscal year strategic planning, including regional measurement development, review, feedback, and finalization.
  • Oversight and coauthored regional sustainability plan includes pathway to net zero targeting reductions in energy and implementation of renewable energy.
  • Implementing an Energy & Sustainability Plan to meet Executive Order targets and comply with Policy.
