  • Provide strategic leadership and administration over operations and standardization of 2 Hospitals, Banner Baywood and Banner Heart Hospital.
  • Responsibility includes all aspects of clinical operations, safety and quality, customer service, financial and quality outcome management, and regulatory compliance in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
  • Maintain partnerships, collaborating with physicians, facility and organizational leaders to positively impact business culture.
  • 2023 process improvement was to positively impact Length of Stay. This work included maximizing effectiveness and efficiency of our MDR's. This took collaboration between nursing, Providers, and Senior Leadership and resulted in increased communication, increased standardization between departments and hospitals, and decreased length of stay from 5.70 to 5.01 at Baywood and 4.80 to 3.90 at Heart.

  • 2020 expanded the ED by completing a construction project, and re-opening as a 28 bed Emergency Room with 2 Trauma bays. Process improvement project was on workflow to address throughput metrics not meeting target initially. By end of 2020, was the first in the system to meet and exceed step down targets.
  • 2021 process improvement was focused on retention and engagement. End of year measurements increased engagement score from 40% to 89%. Turnover from 36% to 14%. Productivity work focused on business goals and Action OI alignment brining Productivity from to 96%- 100.3%
  • 2022 process improvement at a system level to develop the PCU-ED educational pathway. Creating a strategic learning platform to prepare the RN for transition and ensure success. System wide adoption and alignment. System process improvement for throughput. Let the system on the "back end" framework for system throughput work among system ED leader peers.
