I am extremely enthusiastic and highly motivated to work with children and their families. I enjoy working at DSS and have held multiple positions. I have found that CPS investigations is my passion. My goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of children and to keep families together. Sometimes it is necessary to remove children from their home, when I have had to remove children from their home, I am professional and compassionate.
I have enjoyed working at Henderson County Department of Social Services, I do not have anything negative to say regarding my employment there. I live in Buncombe County and thought I never wanted to work in the county that I live in due to my profession. When my community was hit by Helene, I felt helpless, not for my family, we were fortunate, but for my neighbors and community. I then decided that I need, and want to work in the community that I live in. I know that I have a lot to offer Buncombe County and will be an asset to my community.
