• Admission nurse.
• Orders entered per MD, develop and carryout individual patient care plan and schedules via PCC.
• Transcribe written and verbal physician's orders to resident's charts, and medication administration records.
• Administer medication through electronic charting via MAR.
• Coordinate and assist or prepare for new admissions, transfers, and discharge of residents per facility protocol.
• Complete accident/incident reports, as necessary via DQI online software. Sign, date, and perform all charting and recordkeeping in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Daily electronic charting of nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident's response to care online using PCC software.
• Front desk duties such as, answer calls from families, MD's, and outside facilities pertaining to patient care and follow/up appts.
• Assist in scheduling job assignments and developing nursing unit priorities. Assist in orienting new staff and participating in recruitment and selection of nursing staff.
• Daily log and collection of routine labs and specimens and notify MD as per facility protocol.
