  • Provide Spiritual, Practical and Pastoral Leadership Instruction for over 400 congregants and the surrounding community. Lead and develop servant-leadership ministries composing of 8 ministers (2 Currently Pastoring), 18 Ministries, 4 Auxiliaries, and 1 Administrative Assistant.
  • Preach and teach a weekly Sunday Service, weekly Bible Study, weekly Church School, and a monthly Assisted Living Care Facility Service. Provide prayer, support, and “IV” (Inspiration Visitation) for hospitalized, homebound, schools, and incarceration facilities.
  • Collaboratively established the church’s mission statement as a means of an understood cohesiveness of directional focus towards God’s purpose for the church.
  • Established a Disciples’ Training Class for the development of better-equipped church leaders.
  • Created New Members’ Class to welcome and effectively acclimate new lives to operations of the church.
  • Assisted in the clarification of the church’s bylaws, which has positive affects towards church policies and procedures.
  • Organized a church food pantry to meet the nutritional needs of persons within the church and community that have been hampered by financial shortfalls.
  • Launched a wellness program that deals with exercise, proper dieting, promoting of regular doctor visits, and the understanding of stroke and heart attack symptoms.
  • Established a weekly youth bible study that would deal with questions and concerns from a generation that differs from the senior congregants.
  • Formed a Women’s Ministry and a Men’s Ministry to promote the true essence of “Godly” women and “Godly” men.
  • Recommended and assisted in several modifications and improvements to the church including computerized record keeping, procuring new musical instruments, purchasing church transportation, complete renovation of church’s sound system, kitchen and fellowship hall renovations, and the purchasing of vacant adjacent property for potential expansion.
  • Facilitated the eradication efforts of the mortgage of church’s rental property, and accumulated debt.
  • Established an annual Church / Community Picnic. This was an effort to unite the church within and with its community.
  • Hosted and collaborated the West Roanoke Baptist Association & North Carolina General Baptist State Revival

  • Licensed the first minister in the history of the church. (Currently pastoring)
  • Justified the church moving form bimonthly services to meeting 3 times per month with the vision of every Sunday service. This was an effort to meet the spiritual needs of the entire congregation.
