Collections Assistant

  • Collection Assistant, responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Collection, in coordination with the Director, including object moves both on and off-site, climate monitoring, processing incoming loans and new acquisitions, inventories, and maintaining the record files.
  • Responsible for the continued maintenance of the collection database, CatalogIt, and preparing collection records for publication online.
  • Assisting with the digitization and cataloging of paintings at Drexel's Queen Lane campus for publication online as well as display in Drexel's new Health Sciences Building.
  • Also assisting with upcoming exhibitions, including at the Health Sciences Building, and participating in the installation and de-installation of exhibitions.
  • Additionally, helped with moving, packing, and rehousing the Drexel Collection's paintings at Queen Lane, working with external art handlers as necessary, to store all the paintings in a single location at the Queen Lane campus.
