Rhea Gambhir

I am a responsible rising high school junior with many different interests. I am very organized and have strong time management skills. I like helping and interacting with people.

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

• I have completed a total of 72.85 hours of community service.
• I have mainly volunteered at Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program. I started by caring for the stalls and helping in workshops (with children ranging in age from 5-13 years. I then completed training to be a sidewalker and most recently, am a qualified leader in lessons.
• I have also volunteered at various other events including the CC Scholarship Fund Phonathon, CCHS Senior Citizen St. Patrick's Day Luncheon, and the Concord Recreation Egg Hunt. I enjoy volunteering and hope to contribute to many more events.

Babysitter | Children between the ages of 3-12 (CURRENT)

• Created a fun and educational atmosphere by incorporating age-appropriate games and activities that promoted learning while keeping children entertained.
• Handled conflicts between siblings effectively using conflict resolution techniques resulting in a more peaceful household.
• Communicated positively with children and guardians.

Pet Sitter| Neighbors and Relatives Dogs (CURRENT)

• Gave animals proper attention to promote secure environment in owner's absence.
• Exercised animals regularly with walks and rigorous play activities.
• Communicated professionally with pet owners via phone, email, and text.

My interest in arts and crafts led me to start the Calligraphy Club in middle school and it turned out to be a well attended and fun experience.

As a sophomore, I was selected to attend RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), an intensive leadership development program for young people organized by Rotary Clubs. Through RYLA, I achieved wonderful personal growth by enhancing my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills and gained a new appreciation for community involvement.

I started dancing when I was 3 years old and I always look forward to showcasing my skills at every recital. When I was 12, I began horseback riding and it is truly my passion. I also discovered lacrosse in 7th grade and it has been incredible to play a team sport.
