A foundation stemming from an interest in reading and literacy, Books and Beyond is a foundation I established in August of 2021 that collects books and school supplies through local drives and donates them to schools in need within the Bay Area. Ensuring quality education by providing the materials needed, leading to positive outcomes inside and outside of the classroom, allowing for educational resources to become more accessible to students across the Bay Area. Impacted over 5000 students across the Bay Area, donating to over 15 school while managing outreach, transport and coordination.

• Direct and manage school clubs and events
• Preside over purchase requests made by clubs and leadership classes
• Collaborated with administration in regards to school funds, using tools such as Google Sheets
• Held, advertised, and coordinated annual food fair with over 30 participating clubs.
• Host class council elections in the spring through assemblies speaking to over 500 attendees per election.
• Managed aragonasb social media account on instagram, gaining over 100 followers and making reels and posts involving students showcasing spirit and enthusiasm around campus.

• Provided homework assistance using specific curriculum and materials.
• Supported students with helpful study habits and exam strategies.
• Collaborated with students to complete homework assignments, identify lagging skills, and correct weaknesses.
• Motivated students towards learning and studying to build self-confidence and reduce fear of failure.
• Assist struggling students in receiving academic help needed by providing them with tutors that can adjust to different learning styles.
• Held monthly meetings discussing various resources on and off campus for students in need of academic help.

• In collaboration with Peninsula Clean Energy, receiving a grant of over $30,000, I led a group of over 60 students countywide in developing a curriculum related to climate action with the purpose of educating students about climate change.
• Attended bi-weekly meetings (4 hours a week)
• Presented to over 50 students at South San Francisco High School

-Changed venue of homecoming dance, encouraging the attendance of 1000 students, selling out tickets in less than 2 weeks, an all time record.

• Fundraise for yearly science competition

• Hosted weekly meetings on different olympiad events and techniques used to compete.

• Worked alongside over 10 members of administration from others schools across the district and discussed sustainability issues occurring at schools districtwide.

• Implemented environmental impact projects within my community
• Held a tabling event at my school focusing on educating my peers about climate change and its consequences through a scavenger hunt and google form.
• Received over 60 responses and recipients of sustainable prizes.
• Strengthened knowledge on climate change
• Attended bi monthly meetings and monthly retreats involving workshops sponsored by sustainability organization such as Peninsula Clean Energy.
