  • I was under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager
  • I would provide assistance with reviewing daily quality/safety tasks and activities of the center
  • Along with reviewing the daily tasks, I would aid the center in preparation for upcoming audits such as FDA,PPTA, AGES, OSHA, CLIA, COLA,GRIFOLS and Internal audits
  • My daily tasks would range from reviewing Quality Controls in all the areas in the center, to reviewing paperwork for GDP and SOP compliance. Examples of such tasks would be to monitor temperature regulations for each area and completetion of documentation for Out of service equipment.
  • Along with daily quality tasks, I would also be involved with training new employees, or performing retrainings.

  • As the interim Quality Manager I was assigned to keep the center in compliance for upcoming audits, to include FDA,PPTA, AGES, OSHA, CLIA, COLA,GRIFOLS and Internal audits.
  • Along with reviewing all the daily quality activities, I would train other Quality Assurance Technicians, Quality Managers, field quality support staff and any center staff on day to day process and quality functions. I also oversaw improvements in processes to ensure that activities were completed effectively and within a timely manner. I was responsible for completing audits or similar tasks within a certain time frame and quick turnaround deadlines. As the interim Quality Manager I worked diligently with operations personnel to provide CAPA implementations for any continuous improvement of process.
  • The job also required review and handling of bi weekly plasma shipments and reports. The process Intelled reviewing of product and concluding that shipments had met compliance and safety/quality standards.
  • Reviews would range from temperature controls, SOP compliance withing day to day processes, to GDP etc. On a regular basis I would have to review machine's paperwork and pertaining actions to ensure compliance of machine repair by Techs.
  • Along with quality tasks, I would complete safety tasks such as completing monthly safety meetings with the safety committee. During such meetings proper safety measures in conformance to OSHA would be reviewed. Such examples of safety tasks would include, proper PPE usage, or proper handling of products withing the center.

Food process included timers for out of range food, and placing chicken on thawing out racks utiling FIFO system.

I would conduct walk-throughs and reviews of the restaurant with corresponding auditors and ensure or improve process based on findings. The quality processes were continuously improved through updating practices based on any findings.
