Northeast Portland native and descendant of the historic Vanport flood victims, Rich Hunter is a well-known touring Hip Hop artist with over 6 albums. He is also a dedicated community leader, mentor, and outreach worker. With 3 years of experience as a camp counselor at the Salvation Army Camp Kuratli and 2 years as the Head Counselor/Crisis Intervention Specialist, he has a strong background in youth development. Rich has actively organized and curated toy drives with Solid As A Rock PDX for 3 years, contributing to the community. As an outreach worker for POIC, he played a role in reducing gun violence in Portland for 3 years. At NAYA, he successfully managed the outreach department, leading a team of 7 in serving Native and disenfranchised youth. Currently, Rich serves as the founder and operator of Vibrational Youth, focusing on keeping young people engaged in work and school while nurturing their curiosity and expanding their minds. Through hard work and dedication, he aims to empower young individuals to achieve their aspirations.
