  • Guided Meyer through the worst labor union strike along the West Coast ports, primarily in the Port of Oakland, that resulted in extensive shipment delays, vessel diversions, and alternative transportation arrangements to deliver goods to our customers on time.
  • Daily and weekly reports were provided to key stakeholders at Meyer of all containers in the supply chain, and strategies/action plans were developed to mitigate demurrage and detention costs, and find alternate transportation costs at the lowest rates possible.
