Crewmember/Certified Trainer
Raising Cane's Restaurants
Lexington, KY
02.2022 - Current
During my time at Raising Cane's, I was able to do anything that was asked of me and things that were not asked of me. During a day-to-day shift, I could be doing anything in the store, which includes preparing food, taking orders, cleaning, fixing a problem with the store, handing out orders, daily required housekeeping, etc. The title 'crewmember' is given to everyone who works at Raising Cane's and isn't in a managerial position. I also had the title of certified trainer, which allowed me to train any new hire that came into the store, at any position. I am capable of doing everything that you could possibly do at Raising Cane's and not be a manager.
Camp Counselor/Staff Member
Parks and Recreation Department
Lexington, KY
05.2024 - 08.2024
While with Parks and Recreation, I was a camp counselor for a summer camp called Camp Kearney. This job was only temporary and for the summer, even though I learned a lot and grew as a person. Throughout the entire summer, I was responsible for watching and making sure every kid had a good time at camp. Each week, I would have a new group of 9-12 kids that ranged in age from 5 to 14. On a daily basis, we would be outside doing all types of different activities. Some activities we would do are canoeing, archery, fishing, dodgeball, kickball, capture the flag, and any camp activity you could think of. This was a very fun job to have, but at the same time, it allowed me to build many useful day-to-day skills.
