• Worked clinical chemistry department. Did the calibration, and quality controls maintenance of the chemistry machines. Checked expired reagents and replaced them. After all the controls and quality checks passed, I ran patient blood samples. Clinical rotation date for this department was from January 17, 2021, until March 5, 2021.
• Worked on Urinalysis department. I did quality check and calibration of machines. I ran the microscopic, and chemical analysis of urine on machines. Manually checked as well for crystals in urine and other pathological agents. Rotation for department was from March 6, 2021, until March 26, 202.
• Worked in hematology department. I did complete blood count tests on patient blood, I did sedimentation rate tests, I did occult blood tests. Rotation for this department was from March 27, 2021 until April 16, 2021.
• Worked in blood bank department. I spun patient blood samples, helped fill out sheets for distributing blood. I did bloodtyping and blood screening exams. Rotation for this department was from April 17, 2021 until April 29, 2021.
• Worked in Serology/Immunology departments. I ran covid samples in machines and did transferring of covid blood into different tubes. I ran hepatitis and HIV patient samples in Atellica machines. Rotation for this department was from April 29, 2021 until May 10, 2021.
• Worked in Empire City Laboratories in the Microbiology department. I grew bacteria on agar plates by inoculating them with inoculating loop. Put them to grow for three days. Sometimes the bacteria required oxygen and some did not. Then after three days examined the bacteria and identified each pathogen. We did confirmatory tests to identify specific bacteria. I did gram stains. Used computers to input data of identified bacteria. Rotation date for this department was May 10, 2021 until May 30, 2021.

• Operate and maintain lab machines every day for use in tests for reagent examination of different types
• Refill plastic tips, cuvettes, empty waste, refill cleaning solutions
• Restock inventory items
• Atttend meetings for company improvement and planning on daily task work.

• Bring food to patients that is prepared and assembled in trays thourghtout the hospital
• Also other responsibilities include helping wash the dishes, mop and broom the depatment and picking up dirty food plates throughtout the hospital.

• Deliver pizzas to customers and help around the cash register taking customers orders and help prepare foods in the back of the store.

• Provide a great customer service by keeping area clean, offering help to walk to items, calling for back up and keep lines moving fast, being friendly, courteous, and greeting people.

• Cut fresh fish products for customers
• I had to prepare fresh fish food to display on the case
• Also, I had put out more frozen seafood products along the display cases
• I also had to clean the seafood department.

• Disinfected medical machines with Clorox wipes and bring these machines to nurses around the hospital
• Input data into computer using excel of cleaned medical equipment.

• Cut and slice cheeses and meat products for customers.

• Served customers a variety of breakfast food over the counter
• Helped clean the store.

• I had to manufacture in mass quantities small plastic heart catherers that were used on patients who had heart disease or had too much cholesterol in their hearts

• Had to add water to cool down the machine.
